December's employee recognition award has been presented to James Ricketts for his outstanding effort within the company.
Our Maintenance Manager, Lee Hargreaves said: "I nominated James for his help during my on-call crisis!... I was woken up to the phone call of 2 of the 3 staff at Speke had not been able to make it to work. After a number of phone calls, James was the one who wore his cape and came to my rescue.
James cancelled all his weekend plans and covered the full weekend for me. Not only did he show his commitment to the cause, he also gave me a crash course in operating the bagging machine. This for me shows someone going above and beyond and I'm very grateful for James' help. This is the reason as to why I had put James forward for this award, thank you.”
