Dugdale Nutrition continue to be proud to sponsor Gisburn Auction Mart's 'Dugdale Dairy Day' on the first Thursday of every month. These sales always attract an exceptional show of cattle, and this last Thursday was no exception, with 61 milkers and 49 in-calf and young-stock forward. The auctioneer, Fred Spurgeon wrote: 'The show was judged by Oliver Shuttleworth with guidance from his Dad. The pedigree section was won by David Knowles selling at £2,700 to Dave Coulthurst. Not far behind was Andrew Jennings at £2,450 with Frank Coar also at £2,450. With nine more over £2,000 the trade for the best was up to the same level as the last two sales and plenty of heifers went on offer in the £17-1800 bracket with some older cows looking good value.'
