In our 175th year of business, we are delighted to share the news that we have been crowned winners of the 'Made in Ribble Valley' category at the recent Ribble Valley Business Awards.

The Ribble Valley Business Awards celebrate the businesses and organisations that make the Ribble Valley such a wonderful place to live, work and visit. Each year they celebrate and reward the success, innovation, hard-work and vision of Ribble Valley business owners. They also recognise the flexibility, tenacity, adaptability and resilience shown by businesses across the borough in the face of the various challenges of the past number of years.
The Made in Ribble Valley category was sponsored by local business, Printed Cup Company. Winning criteria is listed on the RVBA website as, "The winner of this award will be the best product or service which has been manufactured or exclusively created and Made in the Ribble Valley. Open to all businesses regardless of time they have traded."
As we are in the midst of one of our busiest times of year, sheep season, sadly we were unable to attend the awards ceremony on Thursday 20th March, which is held at Mytton Fold Hotel each year. However RVBA organiser, Rachel Kay, along with Mark Woodward from Printed Cup Company, came to present us with our winners trophy and certificate on Tuesday. This is now proudly on display in our reception area with our 3 finalist certificates from the RVBA last year, and other our awards.

Not only are we delighted to have won this award, it really is testament to the incredible history, journey and growth of our business, which started out in 1850, when Mr John Dugdale was a tenant at Waddington Post Office. If you would like to learn more about the history of Dugdale Nutrition, please watch the video below.
We would like to thank the Ribble Valley Business Awards for putting such a great annual event together. We attended last year and the buzz and environment was incredible. It is wonderful to celebrate our local businesses in such a way, and to showcase what a fantastic array of talent, services, products and innovation we have in our borough. We hope to be able to attend once again in 2026.
"Great things in business are never done by one person. They're done by a team of people."
Last, but certainly not least, we must give a huge thank you and congratulations to our incredible team of people, on both sites, for their hard work and commitment to Dugdale Nutrition. Without such a resilient, hardworking and diverse team, winning awards such as this would not be possible.
May we also offer our congratulations to all other award winners, who are listed below.
